Curriculum

Over the course of the three-year program, doctoral students

• will take four seminars in the area Theories and Practices of Transnational/Transatlantic American Studies,
• participate in three research colloquia where they present their work in progress to peers and senior scholars,
• engage in two practically oriented skill courses in areas such as university level teaching, or intercultural management, organizing symposia and conferences, and editorial work.
